So If you were me?

I'm really personally conflicted here; I'd love to watch this movie as so many seem to love and enjoy it, and it's bizarre story sounds exactly right up my kind of twisted movie alley. But with the scenes of actual animal killings included in this movie, it just puts me off from wanting to actually purchase it.

So do you think the movie, in its overall quality and enjoyment, is still worth being viewed in spite of the animal killings in it?
