These ladies were just too good to be a thrown-together staging. Does anyone know if they were a professional African dance troupe? And if so, by what name known?

shareActually, the Nubian dancers were, I believe, the National Folk Ballet of Senegal. A more interesting question is who is 'Americansusie'. Apparently we know each other. -Avner

shareSomewhere I remember seeing a VHS of this movie and when Joan is in the wedding dance and going after Jack she also becomes topless, or rather her shirt opens up and the lovelies fly about. But that was a long time ago!
