I loved this garbage as a kid

My parents rented this when it first came out and I loved it back then. Saw it in my adult years and it's utter rubbish. Didn't even know it was rated 18....guess I had bad parents. Embarrassed that I used to rave about it growing up.

The original post was made 9 minute ago, so I assume that by now VanZan has already been beaten to death by Chuck Norris.

This film realistically portrayed if America would be attacked by terrorists. It did a better job than Red Dawn

reply

When I was younger I used this movie as basic training just in case America was attacked. It should be looked upon as a anti-terrorist survival manual.

Yes, out of the 80s action movie genre, I prefer Chuck Norris movies because they are based in realism and have a documentary like feel unlike the ones with Arnold or Stallone

reply

Yes, I concur. the problem with First Blood is that he fights cops. I don't have a problem with cops. Maybe a copy of that movie should be sent to BLM, it would probably help their cause. First Blood part 2 takes place in Vietnam. How would that help me? While First Blood 3 takes place in Afghanistan. Now, while that won't help me- I am sure that our fine soldiers watched that film before being deployed. So, yes, this movie is a survivalist guide for terrorism in the United States.

Eh we've all been there.

I'm still waiting to see if "Digby the worlds biggest dog" is as awesome as a remember it from 1978.
Doesent seem to come round on tv much!

I watched it for the first time a couple of years ago and thought it had positives and negatives. It has a lot of cool individual action scenes and moments for Chuck Norris, but the story feels disjointed and the script needed work. The movie feels like some important scenes were left on the cutting room floor.

I watched Delta Force around the same time and thought it was the superior movie.
