That Major Nelson was a completely different person? Did Jeannie "change him into someone else"? Or did they not even explain it?
Sorry but I never saw it (although I'd like to), I am a huge fan of Wayne Rogers!! He is way better looking than Larry Hagman could ever hope to be! :)

the character was the same but it was played by a different actor.larry hagman was unavailable because he was busy with dallas.

Yeah I kind of figured that out. But I'll take Wayne Rogers any day! He is HOT.
I think that Larry Hagman was good looking when he was young but he did lose his looks as he got older. I love this movie and I agree that Wayne Rogers was better looking than Larry.I especially liked the scenes near the end where Jeannie and Tony made up and were being a bit more imtimate
