If you search Chuck Hemmingway (the guy who played Stanley) it says on the IMDB.com page that he died in the 1990"s. It doesn't give any specifics about his death.
I emailed Joe Rubbo via Facebook, he had no idea about Hemmingway's death. He is curious, just like me. I solely going on the info at IMDB.

If you check Chuck's message board you will see a response in relation to his death. No specifics but he was very unwell.
