Yes, Rick Sloane is directing, don't know if there is an actor or two returning, but I believe it is mainly a new cast.

Yes Rick Sloane is directing. Don't think any original actors are returning - some original wardrobe is and the Hobgoblins !

Why a sequel? The first one stunk, and the puppets looked awful. Hopefully it will be better than the first one. I doubt it though, most Scifi original movies are pretty bad. There are a few good ones though.

IMDb has the Hobgoblins 2 page up! OMG it's gonna be hilarious! Yeah he knows the movie sucked ass but MST3K made it, well, popular lol. Too bad it's not on anymore, they could totally do the sequel...
