A Question for those who seen the original non MST3K version
Why was this film rated R? Nudity? Swearing? Violence? Or did that horny girl do alot of sex talk, as she did in the MST3K episode?

shareThere was no nudity, no violence, little swearing. You didnt miss much from the MST version accept more bad celluloid.
Damn, I spilled my Big Gulp!

It was Daphne.
shareFor the MST3K version it cuts the phone sex sequences, which are not even that bad anyways and can probably be put to television, so it was probably cut for time more than anything else. Surprisingly enough if you listen close enough in both versions you can hear Daphne say the F-word when she is fighting the "Hobgoblin".
shareI didn't think there WERE people that saw the original version. haha
"While the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power."
I've seen both versions and haven't a clue why it was rated R. It could have used more gore when the hobgoblins were killed, and boobs in the striptease.
Sincerely, yahmez the mad.
The van rocking back and forth when Nick and Daphne are going at it might have been too suggestive. And there is violence, with Kyle's car crashing and exploding and Nick using his grenades and getting set on fire.
On another note, are there any burn victims out there that had to use crutches and no longer needed them when promised sex by their girlfriend?
Nick and Daphne: "VAN!!!" (Nick throws his crutches away and they run to the van.)
