What happened to the Fontanelles?

Whatever happened to the Fontanelles? They were at least a band enough to appear in A movie. I need my bad music for the same reason I'm visiting this movie's page on IMDB.com and the same reason MST3K watched this film in the first place. Ah, I'm so glad I don't remember the 80s.

I thought they were awesome.
Total 80s new wave goodness!

I expected them to be a lot worse appearing in this but I found them to be impressive.
