Yes, Nazi Germany certainly WAS populated by British folks.....as we the Roman Empire.

It was an English movie populated by English actors. Besides, they were ostensibly all speaking German. Germans do not speak with a German or English accent when they are speaking their native tongue. Just like Tom Cruise spoke only his colloquial (American) English (unaccented) when he played his part in Valkyrie.
