Janus Blythe

Here's a little nothing story I always think about that happened to me when I lived in L.A. in 1993 (in case anyone wants to read): I was working at the now defunct Music Plus that was in the heart of Beverly Hills (I think the street was Beverly Drive) and while stocking cds, a nice short, tanned gal walks up to me and inquires about reggae music. No big deal. We have a cool conversation, she purchases a cd and is on her way..The next day I'm told someone is asking for me and I leave the office and it's the cute tanned chick again. She shows me a videotape of 'Eaten Alive' and then shows me the tape for 'Hills Have Eyes' (Music Plus rented films as well as sold music). I don't know where this is going and before I know it I realise that it's Janus Blythe.. I told her how I would read about her in Fangoria and I thought she was a great screamer. We hit it off and she came in regularly. Shortly after, I had to return to Florida but before I left Janus wanted a favor: I don't know how true this is but according to Janus, Wes Craven was working on a third Hills Have Eyes (this was 1993 remember) and she apparently got word that her Ruby character from the first two films was completely written out and that Wes wasn't able to talk with her as she got no response from her calls. Janus wanted me to write to Craven and/or the producing company (don't know who owned the Hills property) and insist on Ruby's importance/inclusion in the third film. I never got the chance to write and I always wondered what happened to Janus. Again a small incident only for the true 'Hills Have Eyes' devotee..
