Wes Craven "Disowned" this movie?

What does that mean?

It should be against the law to use 'LOL'; unless you really did LOL!

He tried to distance himself from it and admitted he only made it for the money.

It's not very good, I found Shocker to be way better than this movie and Shocker wasn't very good and more of a horror/comedy. Except I loved the little homage to Nightmare on Elm Street that is within Shocker with the guys dreams. Yeah I know I went a little off topic but "It's not very good" is about the only thing I could come up with you could tell it was just a money movie because it was just a mess with the flashbacks and not really using Bobby. Even though that decision was historic in a way because it's one of the first movies where one of the victims actually makes a smart decision. (Hell no I'm not going back)
