What are the things you learned after watching Gymkata?


I learned that most ancient Middle Eastern villages have a pommel horse at the center of town!

That was probably the most random and coolest thing ever. Gymkata is hilarious, although I'm sure it wasn't suppose to be viewed as a comedy. Anyhow, as far as comedy goes this movie was pretty funny..

That a woman badly in need of modern dentistry and with her tongue cut out is the perfect choice to tell a Parmistan princess to meet Kurt Thomas (uh, I mean Johnathan Cabot) in the palace garden so he can protest her "political marriage." Very touching.

I learned that when the U.S. government needs someone to go an on a dangerous mission, they don't call on the CIA, the Green Berets, or Special Forces. They send in a three-time gymnastics world champion.
