The only 3 things I remember, having watched it as an 8 year old:

-Hearing the word "espionage" and hearing it a few times. Ooooh, it was an intriguing word!

-Linda Fiorentino coming clean and Anthony Edwards asking her "What happened to your accent?"

-When Anthony Edwards arrives back in the U.S. after his adventure, he stops at like a Burger King or McDonald's and is like "I want an *AMERICAN* cheeseburger with *AMERICAN* cheese" or something like that.

It's a funny scene because he's just crossed from East to West Berlin... and still about 100 miles deep in East Germany.

Yeah, I saw this in May, 1985, as a double feature with "Fletch." (With my parents! I was 13.)

Great film.
