Couldn't wait...

when I was a teen and saw this movie to get to college and backpack across Europe. In fact I think my sense of adventure and willingness to travel by myself was sparked by this movie. Granted I was never hunted by the KGB, but the silly faux pas's Jonathan would commit while trying to communicate and and the flirting with beautiful people in cafes are indeed accurate and make for some great stories and memories. Still love this movie today, particularly for the nostalgia of the Cold War division of East and West. In comparison to the world scene today, that all seems quite benign in retrospect. I hope Gotcha sticks around and gets appreciated for a long time...
