Andy loved Troy, not Brand

Obviously Andy the cheerleader wanted the rich, cool guy with a red sportscar over the poor loser on a bike. She just hadn't had the balls yet to face reality.

She was quite the tease, and let's face the facts: everybody knows girls prefer bad boys, and Troy is a total piece of shit, so he is irresistible for her. And for Stef. At the same time.

Seriously, what the hell were they both doing hangin' out with Troy, a notorious asshole and possible rapist, if they didn't want some Troy love?

Maybe this adventure changed the course of things, as Brand saves her life, but till that day she just romanticized the idea of Brand, who was tame and polite hence would get zero action from her, while we all know who she would be fucking in the meantime on the seat of his Mustang GT with the roof down.

reply

Shut up. We all know the girls where manipulating both Troy and Brand to get to the hunk they were REALLY after.... Sloth.

reply

Ok, but that's AFTER they get to really meet him. Till then, it's all about Troy.

HEY YOU GUYS!!

reply

Why are you here? You post stupid questions on various boards. Trolling isn't a real hobby.

reply

Why are you on this planet? You're as useless as an asshole on your elbow. Stop wasting my air.

But Troy turned out to be gay in real life and frankly seems quite gay in the movie already. So he probably had no real interest in Andy or Stef.

reply

That is true.
Here's the alt scenario: Troy keeps playfully pestering Andy on his Mustang, till Stef gets so annoyed by this cat and mouse game that she tells him to pull over, enough with this.
She tells him they're gonna fuck him in the woods as long as he quits this silly shenanigans.
Troy can't believe his ears! After all his stalking and his big words, he's finally gonna get some action!
He can't wait to tell his two buddies tonight, at their daily randezvouz at the romantic wishing well.

They step into the Goondock woods, Stef is leading the way while Andy is making out with him. Once in a clear area, Stef pulls down his pants and starts playing with his dick, while Andy kisses him taking her top off.
This is the greatest day in Troy's life, his jock bros will be so proud of him and of his big dick!

The girls are going at it like pros, they are sexy and enthusiastic, yet Troy seems overwhelmed. Stef is still sucking him off, now Andy is completely naked on the grass waiting for him to fuck her, but it's not going as Troy imagined: he keeps thinking there's something weird, something missing.
Maybe Andy should be with Brand afterall, with his broad shoulders and his boy next door antics. And his cute butt. Oh, to have Brand frolicking naked with them, wouldn't that be awesome!
Hey, how did that thought get in there??
And to have him suck on his dick instead of those girls, that's what all the bullying was all about. So Troy could brag with his buddies, and they will be so proud of him they'd all have sex together and finally upgrade to fuck buddies!

Yes, that's what Troy truly wanted, he could see it clearly now. Dicks!
He pushes the girls away, pulls his gym pants up and runs away from the woods without saying a word to them, who are left looking at each other puzzled.

That's likely what really happened, even if the girls told a different version to the Goonies.

Brand ain't so tame though. He be THANOS! Brand is the inevitable: Andy had to conform to the snap of the gauntlet.

reply

I think it's obvious she fell in love with Samwise Gamgee after that kiss.
Thanos, as always, is left in the dust.

Brand at least did have a date set up with her, but as Mouth pointed out he had no car. Not only does troy have a cool car, but also from a wealthy family. Honestly Brand was kind of an asshole to, but nowhere on Troy's level. Troy pretty much had this in the bag even after she elbowed his lip, and ditched him. Up until the big goonie adventure it was inevitable that Troy was gonna hit it, and possibly without her consent, but up until then Troy was way ahead of Brand, and I'm sure Andy seeing Brand riding the little girly bike lost him several brownie points as well. Brand saving her life fortunately wrote Troy out of the picture for good.

That's exactly the way I see it too.
When I watched it as a little kid I just hated Troy, but only later I figured that Andy was inevitably gonna get more than just a ride on his mustang.

I wonder if the adventure stopped the course of history or only postponed it.

Afterall, they just saved the house from foreclosure, but they will still be a relatively poor family.
Troy is still rich, with a mustang, and he DID try to save Andy (and the goonies) from the well.
So he's also heroic.
How long before Andy gets tired of the poor good boy and wants the forbidden (but determined) one?
