The Commentary Track...

Maybe it's my age showing but I really can't endure the movie much anymore on its own(like others, the screaming and yelling is just too much for me now); I just have to watch it with the more entertaining commentary track with Richard Donner and the cast members. The only annoying thing about this is Corey Feldman just tries to dominate it too much and some cast-mates don't get much input, kind of makes me wish they had done a new one for the 30th anniversary so at least Sean Astin could've stayed for the entire film.

Ooooooo yes Corey really tried to mug that commentary track but its still great to watch.

I just hope another re-release has another reunion style commentary track.

My favorite part is at the end while everyone is on the beach cheering and Sloth gestures with his blanket/cape , Cory belts out a 'rrooooaar'.

I know what you mean. I suppose with Corey's extrovert personality, its hard for him not to shut up! basically, lol.

But I would've liked to have heard more from Key, Kerry and Sean.

Shame Sean had to leave early. I think he was honouring a favour for Joe Pantoliano.

You're right about Corey trying to dominate the commentary, but luckily Donner and the cast have an easygoing and good-humored rapport with each other, as if they'd remained friends since the film. It looks like a fun reunion for all of them. My favorite is Martha Plimpton, a very natural comedienne who deserves good roles that can tap into that side of her.

^I agree. I've always thought Martha has been seriously underrated for most of her career.

I loved when Martha points out that she was dozing off on camera during the filming of a scene.
