I rented this a long time ago based solely on the cover

Disappointed that there was no scene in the movie like it.

Anyone else do this?

There is indeed a scene where a ghoulie pops out of the toilet. This movie isn't really about the little monsters at all and I'm pretty sure they're only there due to the huge success of Gremlins. But yeah, the toilet scene was added in at the last minute if I remember correctly.

Back in 1984 I worked at Northrop in El Segundo, California, with a guy named Joe Silva who looked just like that Ghoulie in the toilet.

Goddamit! Things ain't workin' out for me today!
