Good news - Future Kill R1 dvd is UNCUT!

Taken from Fangoria's dvd review,
"And while the packaging doesn’t make much of it, this is the original uncut version of the movie, which had to undergo a few seconds of gore trims to avoid an X rating."

Actually it was more than a few seconds of MPAA cuts, but hey, at least it's uncut/unrated, at last!

Even better news for UK collectors, as "Future-Kill" was pruned of 2min 39sec by the BBFC for it's one and only video release in 1985.

It were just a few seconds, during the first kill of Splatter and in the final ( two close-ups of the gut stubbing & Splatter's Death).

DVD Keep Case and Cardboard Case for it are pretty cool, the special features are ok - but the mono soundtrack is a little bit disappointing and the picture is absolutely awful! The picture of the old Vestron-tape was much better.

Dude, I've had dreams of them finally releasing this movie on dvd. I just ordered it on Amazon. I'm so excited!

I believe they reframed the image in this DVD transfer. I remember a lot of boom mic shots which arent there anymore!

I bought the DVD today. I can't wait to watch it and hear Edwin Neal's commentary.

Comes with a small poster inside.
