This movie is so bad

This is in desperate need of a remake!

reply

Remake would be interesting. Doub the studio would since not too many people remember this film. These days, studios don't remake films because they want to make a bad movie good.

True, but even if they rudux it, no one in this generation would even know it's a remake.

That's funny! I was thinking the same thing last nite when I was watching it! Why aren't bad films remade, but someone will take a perfectly fine film like
'Psycho' and remake it.

It's more famous. Also there's some uncreative people out there that think a bad movie should never be remade (meaning they don't know that a person can use the idea and make a good movie out of it.)

Only 'some' uncreative people? Apparently there are way too many, that achieve funding.

reply

Basically people that think bad movies that can't be remade, they think it is so bad, it'll be bad again.

I agree. This film could certainly use a remake. Considering how crappy this flick is, a remake has no choice but to be some kind of improvement on the original.

I just wonder who the cast would be?

reply

How 'bout Bill Moseley as Splatter and Caroline Williams as Dorothy Grim? I even got the tagline: "The Stars of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2' Together Again."

As long as Michael Bay isn't involved.

reply

Oh yeah, I can just see Bill Mosely as Splatter. He would be excellent!

Now I wonder who the director would be?

reply

Rob Zombie?

Yes, the movie was awful. But, properly developed, a remake might work.

My response:

It wouldn't be the first time some low budget schlock movie was given a big budget face-lift and became a hit. You just never know...
