Nishiwaki steals the movie...

The movie is really not up to much until the fabled Michiko Nishiwaki fight scene...its a draw dropping moment when the demure Kimono clad Michiko whips away her kimono to reveal that buff phsique and sexy outfit...then she kick some butt for good measure! Cool.

She would be perfect for the motion-capture performance of Vexus in a live-action production of MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT.

She wasn't really a genuine martial artist at the time; she did learn properly later in life, going on to become a stunt double in Hollywood (e.g. doubling for Lucy Liu in Charlie's Angels)

all the fight scenes in the MLS were terrific. It just lacked enough fight pieces ,but the comedy held it together!!

Bullshyt MR han-man!!

actually, i thought the guy that was Jackie's partner in the fairground did a
really good job of keeping up with him, in terms of moves and action! Jackie
always keeps the story going, whether comedy or drama, but this was one of his
earlier films, so seeing these other faces (some of whom did a really credible
job, too) helps to broaden our understanding of just how many films he has done.
As far as I'm concerned, he's got the best moves in the business, along with Jet
Li. Ms. Nishiwaki's performance was also outstanding! i just don't think she stole
the show. not entirely, anyway.
i also liked "Jim_Kellys_Afro"'s reference to the famous line from "Enter The
Dragon". it serves us well to remember who it was who popularized Kung-Fu for
Westerners, and basically defined the genre for TV and movies! Long live Bruce
Lee!
the reason i'm writing, however, is that i've just watched MLS and really like the
background music for the mall scene. i'm wondering if anyone has any idea how i
could find-out who wrote it? or how i might get a copy of it?
