Not at all. He's funny annoying, thats just his character. Jar-Jar Binks on the other hand is not the least bit funny and is by far one of the most hated characters in cinema history.
Evil Ed sure as hell doesn't make me wanna stick hot needles into my eyes and ears every time he's on screen.

I didn't want ed to die. I felt sad for him. Jar jar I wanted him to die a painful death. Every second of the movie.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have felt this way for years and last night I introduced a friend to this film and all he kept complaining about was how annoying Ed was. He was clearly displeased with him and I'd done nothing to warn him about the character beforehand so it wasn't my own judgment coloring his.

Omg thank you! I just re-watched this after many years and Evil is so annoying. The movie is really cheesy, but the sfx makeup is still on point! Evil made a better vampire than a character though.
