At one point the sheriff or someone whips out a bunch of newspaper clippings to show how Roy has been using Jason and the Crystal Lake story as a scapegoat for the killings. There's the story about Jason as a kid and then there's one that's a close up with Jason in his mask like Jason stopped what he was doing to pose for it. Always made me laugh.

jason must have killed some nature photographer just as they snapped a picture of him and someone found the camera.
shareIt's been a long known fan theory (of mine) that Jason practices archery (Part III death) and photography during the slow winters at Camp Crystal Lake.
Very unrealistic to think some photographer would want to get close to Jason Voorhees. Much more reasonable to assume Jason dabbled in photography.
