Friday The 13th Part 5 Vs Halloween 5?

Which sequel do you like better?
I definitely choose Friday The 13th Part 5, Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers is such a bad bad movie.

I will go for FT13 part V over Halloween V. FT13 had some comedy and even though it was one of the worst sequels it had its moments, like When Tommy Jarvis knees Junior in the groin and other things.

Halloween V is a chore to watch, plus Tina has to be one of the most irritating characters ever created and they left her alive for too long, ing FT part 5 they killed the most annoying character early.

Friday 5 and Halloween 5 are quite similar in that the previous movies set up the child survivor to be the new killer and then backed off the idea. Friday 5 just edges it for me, I'm a sucker for the more down and dirty exploitation feel of this film in comparison to Halloween 5.

It is quite interesting how parts 4 and 5 in the major horror franchises kind of line up in how people feel about them. There's a lot of love for Friday 4, Halloween 4 and a Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and all of them did big box office business. But then people consider the part 5 of each franchise to be among the weakest entries in their respective franchises and they all had a steep drop off in box office from their part 4s. I guess the lesson is to stop making sequels at Part 4!

My take, Crap vs. Crap, but if you made me choose one over the other, I'd have to go with Halloween 5, if only for Donald Pleasence alone.

Wait a minute... who am I here?

Friday the 13th, no contest.

Friday 5 is at least a silly but fun slasher. Halloween 5 has almost nothing going on for most of the movie, with a main cast that's difficult to endure(Outside of Pleasence of course).

Friday 5 is my 2nd favorite of the series, while Halloween 5 I always skip when watching that series.

Also, I'm watching Friday 5 on blue ray on a 4K TV right, and it is GORGEOUS!!

Halloween 5 marked a decline in quality for the Halloween series. So many things wrong with it.

At least some care went into F13:5 aside from being super-sleazy.

Friday 5 by far. Halloween 5 was awful, definitely not a worthy successor to the excellent Halloween 4.
