So, has anybody seen the HBO version mentioned in alternate versions?
I have never heard about that alternate scene before. Anyone remember it?
shareI used to have the HBO version on VHS, and I don't recall that. Also, on DVD Comparisons it says the DVD release has all the nudity covered up which is incorrect.

FV was shot full frame, so when the DVD is formatted for widescreen it crops the picture.
I just watched the VHS tonight.
In the VHS version, full frame, you can see Barbara Crampton fully nude from the front. Tits and bush, right as the two girls walk into the bathroom.
The DVD crops out her lower body so that you don't see her bush anymore.
Ah, silly me - I wasn't even considering the bush. What was I thinking : )
shareSame thing happens with the DVD release of X-Tro. The scene with Maryam d'Abo making out with the guy while naked. In the FF version you see her bush as she gets up and walks toward the window. The DVD crops that so you see nothing below her belly button. Same with Ann Michelle in Virgin Witch (1972). She's completely naked during a photo shoot in the woods. The VHS shows her in all her glory while the remastered BR crops everything below her belly button as well.
Makes me wish I still had my old VHS tapes. Sadly I lost them to a flood back in '96. Many OOP's in that collection.
