RIP John Vernon
John Vernon has died on February 1. He was quite good in Fraternity Vacation and his passing two months before the film's 20th anniversary.

He was a terrific character actor who, for better or worse, got typecast in a lot of these teen sex comedies. Dean Wormer from "Animal House" is probably his most known role, but he's always delightful in everything I've seen.
shareLoved him in Killer Klowns From Outer Space also, but his best performance was probably in The Outlaw Josey Wales.
shareI always get a kick out of seeing John Vernon play some crusty killjoy authority type who's bound and determined to spoil everybody's fun.
