The Boom-Box song?

Does anybody know the name of the song, and the artist who's performing it, in the scene of the movie where Mike Finnegan passes the kid carrying the boombox? It went something like, "I want da money [money] I want da money [money] Mastercard, Visa, American Express, ain't got nuttin' 'gainst no credit cards, but da cash is da best."

The name of the song is "We Need Some Money", which was released in 1984. The performing artist is Chuck Brown (and his band) who is also known as "The Godfather of Go-go". Go-go music is a subgenre of funk music, which orginally developed in and around the Washington, DC area from about the mid to late 70's. Also check out his 1979 hit "Bustin Loose" on youtube. This is the song that gave the Go-go sound national exposure.

@ Chad477: and I, as well ... years and years and years (ever since the first time we watched the movie) ... and I'm so glad to finally know what it is!

@ Al_B_There: It looks as if I've been a go-go music fan all along, since I loved that song so much. But you've certainly enhanced my experience, and for that, I humbly thank you! :-)
