99% of the people who will buy this will have watched it back in 1985, and want the original cover art with the bikes proped up against the fence. It was a good cover!
I don't want some photoshop tat the tea boy knocked up on his lunch break. No one cares about who is in this film, its nearly 20 years old, so we don't have to have their faces on the front!
Part of the magic of getting these old films on DVD is is the whole packaged parcel of how you remember it when you were younger.
I agree. The original cover art was perfect, it really captured the film.
The new one looks cheapo. No care given - just to emphasive the fact that Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix were in it.
