As a big Star Wars fan, and a completist geek, I had to get this, along with the droids and ewoks animated series,
Its obviously not the best thing ive ever seen, but its part of the story, fills a little gap. As does the caravan of courage film on the same DVD.

It was good enough for a theatrical release in my opinion, and far better than any star wars prequel, as it actually has a star wars feel to it that they don't.
It's pretty underrated. I rewatched it recently and it held up surprisingly. A great kids movie.
The other ewok movie kinda sucked but not this one. Teek is cool as hell, so is the juxtapostition of fairy tale themes with laser/sci fi etc. It's great.
