Ewok movies in widescreen?
I heard that the two Ewok movies where released theatrically overseas and was wondering if they were shown in widescreen. If so, why was the DVD release in fullscreen only?

As for widescreen; well, you actually are seeing more with the standard format in this instance, because the films were shot with television in mind. They were most likely cropped from their original format when shown in theatres overseas.
