Do you prefer Caravan of Courage or Battle for Endor?

Personally, I thought Battle for Endor was far better. Wilford Brimley was entertaining, the annoying Mace died right away :), and the pacing was far better. Caravan of Courage was very very slow and boring. Any other opinions?

strength. courage. Jericho.

the monster in CoC is so much cooler than any monsters in this one though. the sense of danger was much greater in the end scenes of CoC.

The Gorax (the monster from CoC) appears in the comic book series X-Wing: Rogue Leader with some Scout Troopers strapped to it's chest http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/b/b4/Gorax2.JPG

Battle for Endor could easily pass for a real theatrically released movie while Caravan of Courage is more TV movie quality.

That's the difference between the two. BFE is just better in every category and of a much higher standard.

He's tired. He's alone. And he's running out of one liners!

hmm. i feel the opposite. but then again i first saw CoC when i was a kid. and BfE as an adult.

I rate both of them 10/10, but I rank Ewoks: Battle for Endor (1985) higher.

Recently, I got this crow puppet, because of this movie. I ended up calling the bird, Charal.

I like them both for different reasons.

I'd probably go with TEA. It's more The Hobbit, to TBFE's Heidi, although they're both brilliant.

reply

They're both children's films. The first one was obviously meant for younger children. The second one was meant for slightly older kids.

That's why they're so different.

I'd go with The Ewok Adventure, because it was adventurious, and had a scary monster that haunted my childhood sleeps. The Battle For Endor was just way too depressing in the beginning and the very end. That poor little girl went through all kinds of hell in that second movie; her family gets killed, she and her friends get kidnapped, she gets kidnapped again, she has to be fought for toward the end, and she has to say good-bye to everyone to very depressing music. So I'd go with The Ewok Adventure.

I like Caravan of Courage better but Battle for Endor was great too.

I choose Caravan, mainly due to the Gorax and "adventure" aspect. I enjoy both, however.
