Anybody notice this movie has similar music to Mad Max Beyond Tunderdome? Both movies are from 1985 and music composer was the same - Maurice Jarre.

Throughout the movie I felt the music was familiar somehow, and when I read your comment it all became crystal clear. Nice observation.

Many of the composers have a style that is very similar in each of the movies they score. James Horner did Titanic and Braveheart and the similarities are very noticeable.

I can only remember one time particularly when I could hear resemblance with movie scores and it was actually Bicentennial Man and Braveheart which was composed by James Horner. The songs sounded very similar to each other, with just a few changes.
