On DVD
Yes, this is available on dvd, though you're only likely to find it in your local supermarket, paired with a film called 'Criminal Affairs'. Anyway, it's some consolation for those of us who have always loved the great Coral Browne, and this is one of her best roles (next to 'Auntie Mame'). At least the print is in generally good condition, though it isn't 'letterboxed'. The sound quality is acceptable too, which benefits the lovely score by Stanley Myers. Hopefully, one of these days, we'll see a really first rate transfer, but this is a stopgap until then. By the way, it's publised by something called 'Eastwest DVD'.
