DVD? Anyone?

Does anyone know if there are plans to release this as a Region 1 DVD? I saw it years ago on Bravo in the wee hours of the morning, and haven't been able to find it since...
I may have to settle for an ebay VHS copy, but i REALLY don't want to...

I just picked up a copy of the Eastwest release in a selection Double Features selling for $1.00. A fast check shows it to be a Pan & Scan version of okay quality. I didn't notice any scratches and the color looks fairly decent. This may be the best that we will see on DVD. This title was originally released in the U.S. by Universal and they're not likely to put it out on DVD. The second feature on this disc is a scratch print CRIMINAL AFFAIR (1968). Directed, written and starring Rossan Brazzi. Co-stars are Ann-Margret and Barbara Niochols.

How about the lightness of it? My old VHS copy is so dark I worry that any DVDs I buy would be the same

The penguins are calling and I can't find my way out of the labyrinth.

This is the same double-feature copy that I found at a dollar store. Eastwest sure has alot of odd pairings in their double features discs.

Anyway, to the original poster, I agree that the quality of Dreamchild is fine, though it does look like it was transfered from VHS. In fact I'm pretty sure that most of EastWest's DVDs have had the same treatment.
