...don't you think everyone in town would NOT DRESS AS SANTA CLAUS? Is it so important for people to celebrate Christmas this way that they are willing to risk their lives? Even if it's your job (how much could a mall Santa make anyway?), I think staying alive is a little more important.

shareI think it's a normal thing for people to hear bad things on the news and assume "Well, that could never happen to me. That kind of stuff only happens to other people." Sometimes they're right, sometimes not. Everyone thinks of themselves as special, whether they really are or not.
