Sounds like 'Flesh and the Fiends'.

Why am I reminded so much of the superior 1960 British film "Flesh and the Fiends" when watching this film on this great looking blu ray?
Doctor and the Devils is also directed by the great Freddie Francis (also an excellent cinematographer).

They're both based on the Burke & Hare murders. The Doctor and the Devils changed the characters' names; presumably due to some of the creative license taken.
