I'm saying that because there are so many so called comedies out there that can no way compare to this masterpiece. The last time I seen this was when I was a kid and would love to see it again some day. Unfortunately, this looks like it's one of these forgotten classics that may be lost forever in time.

I agree. I saw the movie and thoroughly enjoyed Bruno as the human Terminator. The fight with them dressed as monks was simple but funny as well.

It would be great if they made it unto DVD. I do hear though that some companies will either find or legally crate the DVD for you.
If you liked DSDO... you'd probably like their follow-up film Dutch Treat. Filled with much of the same humor... definitely would recommend it.

I was thinking about using the picture and the VHS version soundtrack, but alas... time is in mercy of better fate. So this movie as source is available on DVD! If only someone would bother to transfer the original track, while granting us the perfect DVD release to enjoy for decades.
For life of me, this comedy is in many ways enigmatic to say least. With so many 80’s flicks repeating so many times on TV worldwide; how is it possible DSD never founds its way - ever on TV?
Totally agree. Rented this movie many times when it was available on VHS at my local video store. Since then, I have not been able to locate it anywhere. Could not stop laughing every time. Would truly like to see it again.

Picture is very good and it is surprising how DSD never really aged!
I love it just the same. One has to admit, beside being kings of B movies, Cannon group really saved no expenses when it came to locations. I doubt anyone will travel such bold risks, specially in department of innocent comedies like these - ever !
DSD should be available on TV in every country - at least once every year!

Go to Amazon.com, under "Movies & DVDS" , enter this movie and you'll be surprised...it's still available in its own VHS format as well as DVD! I already own two copies, which were delivered a few weeks ago to me factory-sealed and in their original VHS boxes and all, and the audio/video is STILL impeccable for a VHS tape. And for a GOOD PRICE TOO!! Get them while they're HOT!!!
