i would really love to know where i could obtain a copy of the 1985 TV Drama (Deceptions) staring Barry Bostwick and Stefanie Powers on DVD or VHS. if any one has a copy or know where i could get one please e-mail me here @ IMDB or E-mail me direct @ [email protected]

I have just ordered it from a Swedish online store. When I get it (most likely in a couple of days) I'll check if this one is locked to region 2 only or if it is more or all regions. I don't think it has any subtitles available other than the Nordic/Scandinavian languages. These releases are usually barebone dvd's with at the most trailers of other titles available from the distributor.
Dirt cheap too, about $7 plus shipping.

I've just received the Scandinavian DVD version of Deceptions.
This edition is issued in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland and as such has subtitles for these languages only, no forced subtitles though.

The cover says it is Region 2 but I've found that the disc is usable for regions 1 to 6 so viewable in all regions should anyone care to get this. The DVD is PAL format.

Quality isn't earth-shattering, likely mastered from a VHS tape source (not uncommon for these budget-priced DVD issues) and to top it all off they've put the whole 181 minutes on one layer. The menus are godawful...
...but it's on dvd! :-)

I use two discs (1 for each part) and it's not from a computer but regular DVD-R burners. It would be $19.95 (USD + shipping). Kaycd, thanks so much for the info about ioffer, i actually had just found a website who sold it and was just about to click on buy when something made me log on here and seen your reply to my message. i logged on to ioffer and found it on there for half the price plus all the other rare titles i have been searching for (except come back lucy-one of my childhood programmes im desperate for). i was on that site from yesterday evening when i seen your reply til 3am this morning!. many thanks for the info :)

DECEPTIONS is coming out on an official DVD in Germany... but it's Region 2...for anyone interested. Release is Nov.4 and it's titled DIE ZWILLINGSSCHWESTER....
but it does have an english track as well... so good news for you with multi region players
