'This is Manny Fraker. Listen, I'm gonna need some more guys.'

"As many as you can spare me."

I never knew gangs had a lend-lease program where thugs are on-call to offer their services. Also, the way Fraker makes that phonecall plays off like he's some kind of franchise owner, requesting more cases of chicken nuggets because he's running out.

You see, Fraker runs his gang like a military. Some of them are in active duty full time, while others are in reserve status. All he has to do is make one phone call and all those reservists become active.

Hey, in street gangs as with entrepreneurship, sometimes you need that extra bit of "heat in your area"!

lmmfao, that last part of the lend and lease program and the Fraker looked just as casual as ordering more cases of chicken Mcnuggets was effin hilarioujs!!!

He calls up 1-800-CREEPS. They're really fast and reliable for those times that you need to "put alittle more heat in your area".

He's very polite and an upright citizen

I believe in the 1980's all gangs had a helper policy when more heat was needed in a certain area.

Busy working Mom's (in the 1980s) had no fear. Busy work schedule? Kids and the husband are hungry! Forget Hamburger Helper, call Ganster Helper!

Though these came out when I was growing up (I'm 46 now), I wasn't interested in watching them at the time and am just now checking them out. Loved it and the unintentional comedy. Extremely entertaining. At least a 7/10 for me.

He wasn't calling another gang; he was calling Kelley Temp Services.

reply

He just placed an order with Dial-A-Gang.

What's awesome about that scene is how he uses his full name to identify himself on the phone. Like he is indeed calling a business to run up his name for their records. God I love this movie!
