Amazing film
This movie is by far one of my favorites. I see Jiro as a modern day "Forrest Gump" in a sense, and he is someone to look up to. This is really important in a time when our youth need inspiration the most.
shareYes, it's an amazing film. The climactic duel between Jiro and Tenkai is one of the best such fights ever filmed. The pacing is awfully slow, though, for a modern audience who might prefer high-action anime like Ninja Scroll.
shareI think this movie is very unique, and as such it appeals only to certain people. Being born in Japan I have a great appreciation for the cultural depictions in this anime.
