This film is like a warm comfy blanket!

It is a film I grew up on, it never reached the fame as other 80's kids film like the Goonies but it still one of my favorite childhood film. I watch it once in a while and I do not know what it is about it but to me it's a really comfortable film to watch on a rainy Sunday to forget for nearly two hours the ugly world we live in today. It's heart warming, sweet and a trow back to simpler times pre-technology when kids still acted like kids.

Completely agree with you. The end will sometimes bring me a few tear drops.

I know, me too, love the end, especially when I was a kid as I actually believed DARYL had died so it was a relief to see he had not lol Also love the credit song "Somewhere I belong"
