Is this Daryl or Barret?

Firstly, this is not a frame from the movie, Daryl does not spread his arms and smile like that in that movie scene. But is this an outtake frame from another take, or a set photo, or was the camera running while the two actors conversed?
The expressions and poses don't seem consistent with the tone of the scene, which was a kind of sad goodbye. So it looks like just a set pic. However, the perspective matches the filmed scene, so it may be a frame from while the camera was running, but I think it's just Barret and Michael talking, in between takes.

I get the impression Barret had a very different personality from Daryl--there's more exuberance.
