Corpse in a plane doesn't change anything?

I know this was mid-eighties, when airports were Lax (no pun intended), but come on.

You have a DEAD BODY, a corpse in the plane, and this does NOT change the plane exiting procedure in ANY way. Police are not called, passengers not interviewed or detained, etc.

People exiting the plane don't even look shocked, horrified or even mildly worried.

How would you react if you suddenly had to walk past a dead body while exiting the plane? Would you think it's business as usual, a normal day, or would it be at least SLIGHTLY alarming to you? What would the flight attendands do, would there be announcements about it? Would people panic? Would people have questions? Why is none of this shown?

Also, how do the thugs know Matrix wasn't in the plane, in case the whole planeload of people might have been detained for questioning about a murder of someone? Do they have a list of passengers with photos to match so they can know exactly when the last passenger has exited the plane? What if Matrix was detained for a few minutes for one reason or another? How long would they wait? How do they know when THAT plane's last passenger has gone through, and what would they take as proof that Matrix ABSOLUTELY wasn't on the flight?

A body in a plane doesn't stink or smell at all, but it changes color and skin texture during those eleven (again this kind of number) hours? What?

How does the hat drop off the body at the exact moment of landing - with a perfect timing - , but not sooner? No turbulence or anything? What lucky flight..

Matrix just explodes buildings left and right, because he needs to have a 'hell break loose' - WITHOUT KNOWING which building his daughter is in!

Whaaattt???

This movie makes as much sense as a cockroach stuffing in a cheesecake. What the.. who greenlit this garbage?

Good job. You found a bunch of plot holes

the people exiting the plane just thought that he was dead tired

I think on arrival, there were some guys who upon seeing Henriques' body being taken out seemed to have ties with Arius as they did contact him and tell him that Matrix was not on the plane which made him inform Bennett to kill Matrix's daughter (which of course didn't happen as her father saved her by fighting their entire army and even succeeded in killing Arius and Matrix)

Regarding Matrix blowing up buildings without knowing where his daughter is located, I think he realized after his killing of Arius that he was fortunate to have found her in the building where he was which led to him fighting and killing Bennet to save his daughter

He wasn't dead, he was "dead tired".

Exactly. Weekend at Bernies.

You are really looking for logic, and reality in this movie?! Yours is a joke post is it not?

The authorities may have detained those people upon landing before removing the body, maybe even sending them over to another area to be questioned. Since the scene skipped at the landing we don't have a real feel for the timeframe involved. It may have been minutes or even longer.

You can go scene by scene through this film and find equally egregious moments. I have not watched it in years, but I recall him leaping from the plane after it had taken off, being in a truck that was hit by a missile, not wearing a seatbelt when a car hit a tree at 80 mph, and surviving many similarly impossible things. Doesn't he tear the door off a car with his bare hands at one point? This is not a reality-based drama.

In fact, I first heard about the film when I overheard a high school classmate regaling his friends with the plot of the movie he'd watched over the weekend, and it being an unending list of "first he does this, then he does that," culminating in "and then he single-handedly defeats a small nation's entire military force."

In other words, the entire point of the film is Schwarzenegger doing ridiculous shit over and over until the credits roll.

How did the plane fly 11 hours with a hole in it

Why did the crew not notice matrix was still in the bathroom
