Angelica Huston: Oprah Winfrey has shunned me since I beat her at the 1986 Oscars

“She never had me on her show, ever. She won’t talk to me,” Huston, who won the best supporting actress for Prizzi's Honor over Oprah in The Color Purple, says of the media mogul in an interview with Vulture. “The only encounter I’ve had with Oprah was when I was at a party for the Academy Awards, a private residence. I was talking to Clint Eastwood, and she literally came between us with her back to me. So all of the sudden I was confronted with the back of Oprah’s head.”

Well, Oprah has always been a very small person ---- Close race between the 2, IT was Oprahs BEST acting performance but Angelica was a touch better

The Academy should be absolutely ashamed for the across the board snub of this masterpiece film.

Well to be fair, Oprah is a black woman who was in a film about black people that was directed by Speilberg. She probably thought it was a no brainer that she would win.

She's so gracious, I wouldn't be surprised if she won Oprah over someday like she did with Bill Murray if the opportunity arises.
