why is this one so underrated?

i can't explain why is this so underrated. it's by far more quirky, intelligent and full of humour than other features from that era. greta schacchi is radiant, eric roberts is brilliant. i dont't know much about australia, but this movie is very different in a good way. maybe the people weren't (aren't) ready for makavejev's genius. who knows.

I don't know why.

It's always been one of my favorites.

Well it got a 5.9 rating here on IMDB. I think that's fairly respectable considering I'm the only person I know who saw it.

Hey I just remembered another Autrailian film about some kids who collect stamps, and use the stamps to travel aroud the world, if by magic. The stamps can magically transport you anywhere in the world. I think it was from the late 80's or early 90's. Does anyone remember the name, or at least the movie itself?
