Tim Curry. It's simple - this movie would not have worked at all without his delivery of the explanation. I can't imagine anyone else in his place, nor can I picture the writer creating this sequence with any human in mind that could pull it off. Thank you Tim curry for this performance. And thanks kind of for your role in home alone 2.

Tim curry is so underrated. He's a similar actor to Joe Pesci, where they can do effortless comedy rolls and then be frightening in their next roll ..... and you completely believe it.
Tim Curry is great in this film as was the majority of the cast. A great ensemble.
