One of my personal favorites.

I get a lot of funny looks when I tell people that this movie would make my top 5 list. The cast is just too good to overlook, and sure they were dealing with a silly script, they all brought their A game to their performances. I'm a huge Mel Brooks fan, so my favorite character has always been Mrs. White. Madeline Kahn is one of my all time favorite funny ladies, and she would always to bring it. The chemistry between all the main characters is an example of brilliant comedic timing, as even the jokes that weren't laugh out loud funny were clever and rolled into each other well (like the soup slurping scene). The most brilliant thing about the whole movie is the multiple endings though, which they couldn't have come up with a better device to make it feel like the board game. I hope I'm not the only person who holds this up in such high regard.

Stop trying to poke holes in the plot and enjoy the ride.

Agreed. One of the all time greatest comedies. Definitely in my top 10 list. Amazing every watch.

Agree, it's really high quality, I enjoy it thoroughly every time. It's just a shame it isn't more well known. (Most people I speak to, haven't heard of it).

It's in my top 5 as well. I also get weird reactions/mockery when I tell people how much I love this movie. There's just something about it. I don't understand how anybody could dislike it. It has everything.

This is absolutely one of the best comedies. I also get weird looks when I mention this movie. My husband and daughter pick on me because I watch it every time I see it on tv. As much as my husband picks on me about this movie, he got me a copy of it on blu ray for Christmas (I only had the DVD and the movie saved on my dvr). ?

Completely agreed! I discovered this movie as a kid when it was on rotation on HBO or one of the other movie channels in the 90's and have loved it ever since. It became one of my standby movie rentals too, back when Blockbuster was a thing, lol. Such an underrated classic, it really puts on a clinic of ensemble comedy and brought together so many talented comedic personalities of the era who were all just so on point in the film. It just never gets old.
