THIS IS EXACTLY LIKE THE FILM MURDER BY DEATH

Murder by Death is stuffy, old, boring and old-fashioned in lighting and camerawork. Clue is faster-paced, more fresh, its mansion has a more realistic presence, and despite being silly and convoluted, doesn't go quite to the absurd lengths of Murder by Death.

I do like both films, but let's get real here, Clue is a masterpiece, Murder by Death is very uneven at best, and although funny and somewhat entertaining, also a bit too absurd for its own good, and tries to be serious at times, which doesn't really suit it at all. And the blind guy is just too frustrating and unrealistic.

(Not that anything about Clue is realistic per se)

Clue has better atmosphere because it's right at the sweet spot of the 1980s, whereas Murder by Death, being a lot older, doesn't quite reach the same, energetic, uplifting, 1980s feel. The seventies was a darker and more depressing time (think about 'Dirty Harry' - and I mean, its depressing 'feel' or atmosphere).

This makes Clue a better experience overall - you can discuss and debate forever which movie is better as a 'film' or 'art form' or 'story' or whatnot, but Clue is easier to stomach, while Murder by Death leaves you frustrated and a bit angry, and it feels like almost nothing happened, whereas Clue offers not only one, but THREE satisfying endings and answers all the questions perfectly.

By the way, a comment like "This > that" is 100% useless, it's merely expressing an opinion, which is like exposing yourself (besides ladies being present) for having a complete lack of writing ability or explanation, or even reasons as to WHY you have that particular opinion, so it might JUST AS WELL be completely random.

And that the writer of such post doesn't see it, tells more about such posters than I want to know..

Too difficult?

When you want to write 'something is better than something else', AT LEAST have the decency to EXPLAIN your viewpoint; who knows, maybe you will convince someone. You'll NEVER convince anyone with a ">"!

Agreed. Murder By Death is way better and Clue arguably rips it off (poorly). Clue was okay, but lacked the audacious genre-riffing of Murder By Death.

Not even bothering to write a sentence, but just putting two movie names and a mathematical symbol inbetween is not a proper post, and doesn't make your RANDOM opinion valid. For all anyone knows, you have chosen that particular opinion purely randomly and have NOTHING to back it up.

If you disagree, please elaborate and explain why you have that opinion, or you have no credibility, and might as well not have posted anything. At least that way, you could've kept your particular lack of talent hidden instead of exposing yourself while there are ladies present.
