Fave character?

I just saw this movie for the first time, and I just love Paul!!! What an adorable little guy, I would have liked to see him get cast instead of injured :( Anyone else around and got a favorite they'd like to share with the class?

i think morales is cool!!!
mainly cos i absolutely lurve her song!!!!!

AS CHARACTERS GO ...love Morales again i think its for the song!!
Though my favourite character must be Shelia, i think out of them all and performances in the movie she comes across as the most fully rounded character.

Cool film!!

SHEILA BRYANT!!!!!!!! That woman really has style... ;-)
And I absolutely LOVE her voice, it's a pity she sings the song I like least in the whole movie...

Dance wise Richie Walters was absolutely stunning! He had the rhythm, the moves, and was able to carve his own niche in the song "Suprise".

I have the need... the need for speed!!!

i absoulutley lv this film n ive jus performed it recently and i played the part of kristine n i didnt really like my character at first now i lv her

i also think sheilas really funi
n valarie clark is amazing i would of lved 2 ave played her really lol

I thought Richie and Diana Morales were fab! Funny enough the best part of the movie was the part they added with Richie. But I thought they dropped the ball on alot of the others. Diana's 'Nothing' was great too!

reply

Haha i love the movie to the HardxCore.
Its amazing
My favorite person is
Mike
Well.. im pretty sure thats his name
but hes played by Charles McGowan
And he sings 'I Can Do That'

AMAZING

reply

Hey, I played Kristine, too! She was so much fun.

Besides her (and speaking from the show, not the movie) my favorites are Richie (he was so fabulous and funny and vibrant in my production), Diana (just because she's cool), and Paul (not only did I immediately take a huge liking to him as soon as I saw his monologue--and if I was a guy, he would definitely be the part that I'd want to play--but one of my best friends played him in our show, and he's such a fantastic actor and nearly brought me and a few others to tears when we watched his monologue from backstage during one of the performances, and I NEVER cry at ANYTHING, so that's saying something, but I too, hold a lot of affection towards the guy.)

I dont know why but I like Maggie. She's a terrific dancer. She seems lovely and warm character. I like Richie as well. Love his Suprise performance. Very talented and funny.

My favorite characters are Mike (is that the right one? the guy with the parachute pants who sings "I can do that") and Larry (I'm a Terry Mann fan).

My favorite characters are Mike and Val, mainly because the way they play their characters is totally believable. i mean, you wouldnt really think of mike as getting in to dance cause he loves the graceful feeling! no, its like a man-thing, where he has to show everyone hes as good as his sister. and vals song is just so funny, and she does it so believably. i also like diana though...
theyre all really good, so i guess i just like those two because of the song.
the only one i dont like is maggy. its a bitch that she got together with mike (in real life).

In our school's production of "A Chorus Line" I was Beatrice Ann 'Bebe' Benson *soo much fun!* My favorite character though is Greg Burge. "Suprise!!" :)

reply

Aww, my favorite character is definately Bebe Benson, she's so cute! She's the best dancer of the lot too I think. I love the part where Larry gets her to demonstrate that move for everyone at the begining... "Hit...Hit...Hit!".
Such a great cheese fest film!

Hmmm, I liked Larry :)

I both love and hate this movie...

I hate it because the stage version is just SOOOOOOO much better. For the movie they rewrote a lot of the songs and the characters too. They added in that 'Surprise' number, but took out several scenes with interesting dialogue and cut Al and Kristine's song, and the montages that have Mark, Connie, and Don's parts in them.

I love it because it's 'A Chorus Line', and I love eveerything ACL, lol.

My fav character is probably Val, but that may be because I'm playing her right now :D yay!!! I also really love Cassie (the stage version Cassie though, not stupid-shows-up-late movie version Cassie) because it takes a lot of guts to say some of the stuff she says to Zach in the show.

Sheila, expertly played by Vicki Frederick, who I truly do think was the best part of the film and was robbed of recognition come award's time.

Cassie (Donna McKechnie version only)

Val (Audrey Landry is just so fun to watch in her song.)

Sheila was incredibly beautiful! I couldn't take my eyes off her. BTW, does anyone know whatever happened to Vicki Frederick? Practically no mention of her on the net. It seems her career went nowhere. Too bad, she deserved better.

reply

I love Paul too, but I also like Mike!

reply

Connie and Paul. And Bobby.

Val big time - my stepsister performed Dance 10 Looks 3 at an audition where the other girls were doing their usual boring "I Will Always Love You" etc - it worked!

Sheila is played superbly by Vicki Frederick

I also like Mark's innocence, and Judy is an extremely good dancer

reply

Richie (Greg Burge) and BeBe (Michelle Johnston) were my favorite characters and the dancers I liked the best!
