I noticed that there is no poster of the movie. Can I submit a scan of the cover of the VHS tape I have?

If you click the "Add Poster" button in place of where the poster would be, you're taken to a page where a poster can be uploaded. However, i noticed two things -- first of all, it costs $35; and secondly, "IMDb Poster Services is for authorized representatives of films to add posters and gallery photos to existing listings in IMDb."

So, no, you probably can't submit that scan.
