Read in Maltin's review that rape and abortion elements in film were based on real events in Madonna's life. Anyone else hear this same rumor or read it in a review?

She was held at knife point I believe. This seemed to have made her a more tougher with men. She also displayed it in A Certain Sacrifice and renacted a similar experience in Dangerous Game.
